Meet Brady
I have over 20 years of summer camp experience with many years as a Camp Director at Camp Tawonga and Camp Galileo. In my time I have interviewed, hired and trained hundreds of staff members; hunted down countless forms; and spent hours and hours making camp schedules. I have created my own camp style programs from scratch starting two businesses (Camp Grounded and Custom Camps) that bring the magic of camp to adults. Through everything I have truly learned what it takes to make camp work. While I love being outside and playing at camp, at heart I’m just a math and boardgames kid who loves solving puzzles. These days, my favorite puzzle to solve is how make infuriatingly time consuming camp processes as fast and easy as possible. While technology can feel antithetical to camp, if it gives us more time to invest in our staff and campers, it is a very useful tool. I believe deeply in the magic of camp and want to help you make more of it!
Meet Quan
I’ve spent the past decade working in summer programs and outdoor education, with a focus on staffing, operations, and people systems that help camps thrive. Currently, I serve as Staffing Manager at Camp Tawonga, where I support recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff experience for large seasonal teams. My background spans camps and youth programs across Southern California and the East Coast, giving me a broad perspective on what it takes to build equitable, efficient, and sustainable staffing systems. I’m especially interested in creating clear, thoughtful processes that reduce administrative burden and help staff feel supported, informed, and set up for success. I believe that when HR systems work well, they create the conditions for stronger teams, healthier culture, and better experiences for both staff and campers.
